DAYS OF SPECIAL INTEREST
One whole day per season is given to more in depth study of topics. Recent memorable subjects have been Jewellery with John Benjamin and Silver with Ian Pickford .

SOCIAL EVENTS
Whilst GADDFAS lectures are held in the formal setting of the Guildhall Theatre informal events enable members to interact socially.

An annual June coffee morning is held at the home of a member.

Coffee and seasonal refreshments are provided before the December lecture.

In 2009 a special lecture and lunch celebrated the NADFAS 40th Anniversary and the   GADDFAS 9th Anniversary. Peter Medhurst, accomplished musician and lecturer, delivered the lecture based on the paintings of Vermeer which include musical instruments.

September 2011: Members were served with coffee and biscuits and viewed the Exhibition of pupils’ work from the Luttrell Psalter Young Arts Project which included the handing over of the first Church Trail in the East Midlands Area.
