VISITS
Each season visits are arranged to places of interest which are usually linked with our programme of lectures:-

Burton Agnes, Yorkshire - July 2006
Situated near Driffield, this is an historic Elizabethan House with fine furniture, superb paintings and magnificent gardens.

Buckingham Palace: September 2006
THE STATE APARTMENTS included the 80th Anniversary Exhibition of the Queen’s gowns and jewellery. Meticulous organisation by our visits organiser resulted in a fabulous day. The Palace organisation was faultless and the gowns and jewellery were incredibly beautiful.
Highly recommended.

The Queen's Gallery: October 2007
The Art Of Italy In The Royal Collection

British Museum Exhibition: March 2008
Ancient China’s Terracotta Army.

Waddesdon Manor: September 2008

DAYS OF SPECIAL INTEREST
Silver and Social Custom led by Ian Pickford: April 2007
A return visit is being planned during the 2008-09 season to explore other aspects of the subject.
